On 25 May 2018, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force, despite BREXIT it changed how businesses and public sector organisations can handle information about customers.

In the UK we’ll have a new Data Protection Bill, it’s now waiting to go through the House of Commons and the House of Lords before it becomes law, but when it does, it will implement GDPR into UK law. The Bill will have some slight differences to the EU Regulation including a greater focus on the personal data of children.

All organisations will be affected by GDPR including The Grey Matter Group. As part of our preparations, we published our GDPR Supplier Statement here. We also have our Data Protection and Privacy Notice available on this site.

We have some eLearning available on GDPR, you can find this in our eLearning library. If you don’t have access to our solutions, give Peter a call on 01635 890373.
